Enthusiasm and luck are common ingredients in a business that is in the start-up phase, but these qualities will only keep a business afloat for so long. All too often, businesses run into trouble because the fundamental and important elements for success are not in place from the beginning.
Even larger organisations with smaller business units, often fail to correctly resource their units, or put managers in place to run these units who have never acquired the necessary business skills. Business management takes a specific set of business skills and capabilities that need to be learned and honed over time.

By nature, every good leader aims to find this answers but the answer will never be simple! In the real business life, there are many examples that show the effectiveness depends on many factors: situations, goals and particular needs, management characteristics, decision-making process and etc.

I think there′s a natural human tendency toward people who we can identify with. People whose words and actions match up. People who are consistent and brands that are consistent.

I think there are cultural tendencies that inhibit authenticity. Some of those center on the desire to carefully curate a crafted, artificial image. People don′t take photos and share updates of their everyday life; they share photos and updates of the one amazing minute in an otherwise dreary day.

We typically praise the person who is the last to leave the office and who works during weekends and holidays. Often, however, that person is the first to fall in the war of workplace attrition.
Leadership demands long hours and great effort, but rest and relaxation are just as essential as hard work. Go-getters often feel that every minute of every day must be filled with work, but that is just not a healthy way to live. Because more does not always mean better, a leader must learn to draw a hard line in the sand when asked to take on boundless responsibilities. Learning to say “no” is a matter of self-preservation.
